Government College of Pharmacy, Amravati started in the year 1996 is affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. Government College of Pharmacy, Amravati runs B.Pharm., Pharm. D., M. Pharm. (Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance as specializations) and Ph.D. course.

• A candidate who have passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject and Mathematics, Biology, Biotechnology, and Computer Science subjects for First year or have Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University for Direct Second Year are considered eligible to get admission to the course.

• Admission to B.Pharm and Pharma.D course is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in MHT-CET through CAP conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
• Students with valid MHT-CET score and have passed 10+2 in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects meeting the criteria of minimum marks are eligible to get admission to B.Pharm course.
• Students with valid MHT-CET score and have passed 10+2 in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects meeting the criteria of minimum marks are eligible to get admission to Pharm. D program.
• Applicants with valid GPAT score and who hold B.Pharm Degree with minimum 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to join M.Pharm course.
• Candidates holding the Master Degree in Pharmacy degree from a recognized University with GPAT qualified score and/or cleared PhD entrance test are eligible to apply for admission to the PhD course.
• Selection of the applicants for admission to the M.Pharm course is done based on their marks obtained in GPAT through GAP conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
• Candidates admitted to PhD course strictly on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination and performance in the interview round conducted by the college according to SGBAU notification and directions.
